I wouldn't go for a K-1 visa - marry (Utah) and file for DCF.

This is what we call convenient interpretation. Many members here have many years of experience in these matters.  I assure you that the circumstances you described are not justification for an expedite. It's free to try.  When you ask questions here, members will provide information they think you need and is applicable. They do not limit their comments to direct answers to the question you ask.  People are trying to help.  Sometimes that means telling you things you don't want to hear.

 

The solution to your financial problem is yours to find and implement, as the circumstances were created by your joint choices.  If you need to earn more, get a second job, or relocate and live within your means.
