Thrilling Friday report, see man:

No GS or ES attended today, :girlwerewolf2xn:  man.

Ex-Mrs.-T-B. texted to ask if we could keep Mini-B. overnight after skool, overly committed ex-she man man.

We agreed to this, agreeable we man.

Lunch was onebag of nuked mixed vegetables, ingest we man.

We were up-cleaning little things, like activating credit cards, when Mama T-B. called, aysheep senior she man.

The noosering-home and hospice people had caucused about her plan of care, caucus they man.

They seek to meet her need of sitting in a wheelchair for a while several times weekly, si man.

Mama T-B. aysheeped, "They're probably going to mess up my schedule and timing, si man," :girlwerewolf2xn:  man.

We said, "Wait and see, si man.  Why worry about something that hasn't happened yet, huh man?", si man.

Mama T-B. kept bemoaning and bewailing the "change" to her timing, :girlwerewolf2xn:  man.

She also wanted a visit between noon and 1, visit senior she man we man man.

We appeared at Many (2x2x2) minutes till 1, punctual we man.

Mama T-B. lectured us for "almost being late," :girlwerewolf2xn:  man.

She also asked us why we weren't working on her taxes, :girlwerewolf2xn:  man.

Mama T-B. was tense, trembling, and aysheep, champion worrier senior she man man.

We were to reload her pills, a.m. & p.m. caddies man.

We told her that we were going to fill in this week's so she had 2 full weeks' worth of pills, si man.

She asked us Many (2+1) times what we were doing and agreed to it all Many (2+1) times, si man.

Then, after we finished, she asked what we'd done and cried because it wasn't what she wanted, sigh man.

Mama T-B. is starting to forget stuff, and she knows it, all the worse man.  :(

She's also going blind in one eye and couldn't see out of her glasses anyway, vision-changes man.

There's no one to remove her earwax so she can hear better, no man.

Losses of sight & hearing are major contributors to senility, sigh man.

She can't even sit up in bed long enough for an earwax-flush, no man.

We can think of nothing that we can to do to help, advice please man.

After well over an hour, we proceeded on our errands, Many of them man.

Mini-B. was at our casa waiting to be fed, de-skoolbused wee man man.

We asked his patience, frazzled we man.

We groceried at Costco Business Center and got more Subway gift cards, F$WM.

We went to Dollar-Plus-Half-of-Half-a-Dollar Tree for our/Mini-B.'s needed items, si man.

We groceried for Many (2+1) items for Uncle T-B., needy senior he man.

We delivered said items to Uncle T-B. and retrieved another tax form, 10ManyMany-R man.

Uncle T-B. said that he figured out how to use Adguard, miraculous man.

He also didn't keep us longer than the 2 minutes we said we had, even miraculouser man.

Fought skoolzones to reach casa and Mini-B., thoroughly out-wiped we man.

Of course, miu demanded miu-treats and dry miu-food, demanding miu man.

We then fridged/freezered/pantried purchases, beyond-exhaustion we man.

Then ex-Mrs.-T-B. texted Mini-B. to see if we could din-din him and drop him at her casa, work-lating ex-she man man.

We somehow didn't shoot ourself definitively and managed to comply, compliant we man.

Din-din for Mini-B. was onecan of S+Ms, ingest we man.

Din-din for us was a chicken tender and half-sandwich donated by Mama T-B., ingest we man.

We then off-dropped Mini-B., bye wee man man.

Returned to casa and siesta'd, zzz we man.

We left phone in other room with door closed, visionary we man.

Sure enough, phone rang twice and it was Mama T-B. both times, voicemail we man senior she man man.

It was too late for us to call her back, we'll hear about this later man.  :bonk:

No party with the rubias tonight, no cavort we man.

We have itineraried 2 GSs and at least 1 ES for Saturday, itinerary we man.

We expect to visit FST and Favorite Medium-Sized Town, expect we man.

Consciously in back of mind will be needs from Mama T-B., what can we do man.

And that was/is our thrilling Friday, report we man.

Wait, what?

You can't be that old...

I'm not happy.  Next long trip to the Keys is supposed to be the last week of this month.  Last night my wife tells me that her daughter that lives across the state wants us to take care of her kids in the middle of that week.  The daughter wants to go to a concert in Las Vegas and her husband has a business trip at the same time.  These are the same kids that disrupted my Christmas escape.  And of course we will also need to attend to their two bunnies and tortoise.  Wife doesn't want them at our house because of the mess that will be created, and I really don't want to stay (with our two young dogs) at their dump.  Last time we were at their house I had to use the bathroom and I was seriously "afraid" of what I might catch.  Really it was gross and I suggested that they should consider having a maid come once a month to help clean.  The Brit husband says they can't afford it and the (6 and 8 year old) kids should be cleaning.  I'm still trying to figure this out.  Perhaps I will tell the daughter she must drive the kids and their zoo down to the Keys and pick them up after.  She won't like that.  I can see this is going to get messy.

Speaking of GenX, I have noted something the last few weeks while grocery shopping.

It seems GenX and younger keep their shopping lists on their phone.

Us Boomers have our shopping lists written in pencil on an old scrap of paper.

i've gone to the phone as while i always have a pencil, paper is not something i carry around.
i use samsung notes to make my list, and then erase that item from the list after i put the item in my shopping cart.
and yes, i refuse to own an iphone.

Thrilling Saturday non-GS/ES report, see man:

Breakfast was 2 slices of honey-wheat bread, ingest we man.

Weather was spectacular, Texas weather Many man.

We began GS-/ES-ing at Many (2x2x2 +2) a.m., oh well man.

Route took us through FST, always enjoy we man.

We groceried at little supermarket for good specials, F$WM.

Lunch was at Mexican restaurant, consume we man Many (2+1) chicken enchiladas + rice/beans + small salad + warm cheaps/warm salsa, ingest we man.

Route took us to Favorite Medium-Sized Town, always enjoy we man.

ESs were down angled country roads, blacktop at most and chiefly gravel man.

Both ESs were way out in very peaceful rural areas, dead silence but for occasional chirp-birding man.

This day was like an escape for us, highly therapeutic man.

Route back took us to Second-Favorite Medium-Sized Town, always enjoy we man.

Groceried for rest of Two Guys Week stuff. grocery we man.

We made great time on casa-ward freeway trip, somewhat exceed posted speed we man.

We were in fast lane and almost overtook Constable in center lane, uh-oh man.

We immediately braked and moved behind him, savvy we man.

He tried to maneuver behind us, smell prey Constable man man.

We put other vehicles in his way, expert maneuverer we man.

He eventually sped up and gave up, ha ha HAAAAA man.

Later, we saw him exit, bye Constable man man.

Stopped at Uncle T-B.'s pharmacy before going to casa, stop we man.

Pharmacy had refilled all Rx's that were merely meant to be reauthorized for normal refilling, :ranting:  man.

We determined which Rx's cost 0, Many (2+2+1) out of Many (2+2+2+1) man.

We took these and delivered them to Uncle T-B., surprised senior he man man.

He won't run out of these for a LONG time, no man.

We showed him the receipt for $0, see man.

He said, "We should frame this one, si man," si man.

We told him that we had gotten him off his long-time rip-off Medicare Part D plan, F$WM.

This will knock his $Many ($2x2x2x2 -1) Rx's down to 0, for one thing man.

The no-monthly-charge will also save him over $Many,000 this year, for another thing man.

We convinced Uncle T-B. to buy the lifetime Adguard computer protection, cheap senior he man man.

We now think that it will launch whenever he needs it, si man.

He noted with amazement that the trial had blocked Many00 pop-up ads in just 2 days, si man.

Unloaded stuff at casa, exhausted we man.

Miu demanded treats/dry miu-food/wet miu-food, demanding miu man.

Casa looks like a disaster, plastic bags and GS/ES items everywhere man.

And Mama T-B. spent half an hour lecturing us about doing her taxes, :girlwerewolf2xn:  man.

A much-needed siesta failed completely, too much bodily pain we man.

Din-din was 2 turkey sandwiches, ingest we man.

Mama T-B. turns Many years old on Sunday, venerable senior she man.

Absolutely no one thought she'd make it, least of all Mama T-B. man.

She doesn't want to celebrate in any way, understandable man.  :(

Ex-Mrs.-T-B. & Mini-B. will probably visit to try it anyway, up to them man.

No party with the rubias tonight, no cavort we man.

HSM before bed tonight, need major zzz we man.

Sunday = a taxing day, must mollify Mama T-B. man.

And that was/is our thrilling Saturday, report we man.
