Chances of Travel visa when i-130 or i-485 pending

I filed i-130 for my wife on March14. her current J1 visa ends on July 16. and i have green card from previous marriage.

I am guessing Priority date will get current by July1. so i will be able to file her i-485 along with advance parole on July1.

But she really wants to visit her home country in July. And come back on travel visa maybe.

Should i file for her i-485 because i heard chances of getting travel visa when i-130 is pending are better that when i-485 is pending.

She can't file for AOS as final action dates are not current. She'll have to do consular processing after returning to India.

Her chances of getting a tourist visa approved are not great, and for good reason because it looks like she’d try to use it to enter with the intent to adjust status.

She has to get priorities right. If she wants to adjust status, she cannot leave the US until she has advance parole or green card.

Leaving the US, reentering and adjusting immediately is immigration fraud.

OP: I also saw your post on Reddit and I really think you should wait until your I-751 is approved. As mentioned there too, it looks like your first marriage didn’t last long, you had a conditional greencard and are already remarried while your I-751 is pending. You might want to make sure first that you don’t have issues with your I-751.

This changes things quite drastically!

I agree, if OP's I-751 is denied, then new spouse's immigration will be in jeopardy too. I wouldn't feel comfortable with this personally.

Why do you think that? It didn’t move forward  at all in June and given the big jump it did in May I wouldn’t be surprised if it remains as Feb 2025 next month too. 
 

Basically, if that’s what you’re relying on then don’t as you may be disappointed. 
 

As said above, your wife needs to decide what she wants more - a visit home and consular processing, or staying in the US and being unable to travel for a while.
