Hello everyone I'm seeking your help if anybody knows what is going on with wife's n400 form. So she had the interview 3 days ago. she passed her civic test but officer said decision cant be made since she filed before three years even though when we filed it was two years and 9 months. Today I checked the status it says On May 14, 2024, we received your request to withdraw your Form N-400, Application for Naturalization, Receipt Number ********** and completed our review. We mailed you a Withdrawal Acknowledgment Notice. If you do not receive your Withdrawal Acknowledgment Notice by June 13, 2024. Anyone familiar with this? we didn't request any withdrawals. I appreciate your help. thank you god bless

Are you certain she didn't file a day or so too early?

FYI, I just found this:

"Sometimes USCIS will ask you at the interview if you want to withdraw the application because you do not meet one of the requirements."

It does seem like an offer to withdraw was made... @Hmmehanna has to learn more from wife. What exactly happened at the interview. I think @Hmmehanna should have tried attending the interview since it's based on marriage. Good chance he wouldn't be allowed in, but it was worth trying. Was there I-751 and was it still pending?

No because when we filed it the USCIS website will let you fill the application only after two years and 9 months of entry.

Did she file on the very first day you think she was eligible to file?

Did she submit the form immediately upon the window for filing opening?  Others have had issues with the online system when they submit minutes after the window opens, but the IO should have indicated that at the interview.  Otherwise, I would be calling USCIS and requesting "Infopass" and try to get a Tier 2.  Also, the notice should show up online at some point in the near future.  Additionally, it could be a glitch where an IO simply made the wrong selection in their system.

Good Luck!

Then, there was an issue either with the application or during the interview.  Otherwise, the officer would never have said that.  Early application seems likely, to me....or maybe the status was a mistake.  I would wait a few days to see if it changes.

Could be a status glitch too. If formally withdrawn, I'd expect mail in 4-6 weeks confirming it. I wouldn't be re-applying in the meanwhile anyways until this petition is squared away.
