US citizen with Canadian citizen

Hello guys,

 

I am US citizen and planning to marry a Canadian citizen. Can she stay with me in the US while waiting for approval? I know Canadians they enter to US without a visa for 6 months. Can she stay with me that long, exit the country and come back again? I really don't know what is the best options we have here!we really don't want to live apart for more than one year! 

 

By the way, she has her own business there is canada.

She can visit during the process, but she cannot live in the US without a proper visa.

You already know she's allowed to stay for six months.  You asked if she can leave and come back.  Answer to that is yes.  She can enter multiple times.  There's no limit.  However while she can stay six month on one visit, she cannot stay six months, leave for a day, week, or month and come back for another six months.  She must be outside the USA more than in, even if only a day more.  This is measured during any 12 month period.

 

She has a visitor privilege.  Many Canadian Snowbirds actually live in their own homes in the USA six months out of the year, but they go leave for the other six months.

I don’t think that was OP’s timeline or info, I think they copied that from a facebook group to show a timeline from another person as a reference.

 

To OP: your spouse can have short visits while the immigrant visa is pending but she should not push it and keep the visits short.

She cannot work remotely while in the U.S, without EAD.

its not from a timeline 

He wrote on another's post that he petitioned his German spouse 9/2022 and was sent to NVC 4/2023
