Sounds to me like they found something during the medical that they want to check again in 6 months time. Any history of alcohol or drug abuse? Any indication of TB in the x-ray? Did she have to do a blood/urine test?

@appleblossom  It never stated that she didn't past all the test. it just says Incomplete.

@Crazy Cat  yes, it says on the 221g that new med appointment cannot be made no earlier than September 3rd.

This is a double negative.  What is written exactly?  Could you post a picture, removing all identifying details?

@appleblossom  So you're saying that "Incomplete" falls under the umbrella meaning she failed one of the med exam?

It doesn't mean she failed, but it means it's not complete - there is something outstanding. As I said above, it sounds to me as though they want to follow up on something in 6 months, but the question is what that is.

@appleblossom  Should I escalate our case to a congressman, or should we just wait the 6 months a follow thru what the 221g stated??  Thanks.

Personally I'd try to find out what the problem is - I'd ask for a copy of the medical report/contact the medical provider for more info. If there is something they need to check, a congressman won't be able to to do anything anyway, but if it's an error then I'd escalate it. You just need to find out what the reason for the second medical is first.

@Lemonslice  Its not a double negative.  They're prohibiting us from getting a new med exam appointment until after September 3rd.

That's not how I read it.  Good luck with everything.

congress.gov find your representative - type in your zip code and you'll get a list of congress members from your district and your two senators.

Does any think Mexico's Doctor will do anything right at this point. Find another embassy approved physician, Pay for a new physical, pay extra money, and only get done what's needed.

@JeanneAdil  Yes, she did everything including the x-rays

@Crazy Cat. We're afraid the clinic will turn us away because it says on the 221g that we can't make a new medical exam no earlier than September 3rd, 2024

Something doesn't make sense about this.  If they're requiring you wait 6 months to do a new medical, it sounds precisely like a TB-related issue.
