I stupidly submitted our CR1 application without including any photos or evidence of our relationship apart from our marriage certificate and 4 affidavits from family members who were at the wedding.  Is this going to automatically make them not approve it? Or will the certificate and affidavits be enough? Is there any way to add things to the application?

Based on your timeline, you have just submitted the I130 petition and are not yet at the visa application phase of the process. Correct ?

Maes a big difference to properly describe where you are in the process and use proper terminology which helps get the advice you seek

Yes we did.

You can upload additional unsolicited evidence if you like. They may or may not consider it.

Thats great thank you.  How do we do this?  Do we have to wait till we can activate our USCIS account?

How did you file online without an account?

It's a matter logging in to the account you used to submit the application and you'll see the option for unsolicited evidence.

I was told we’d receive a letter in the mail with an activation code to activate our account.  When I log in now there’s no option to add anything.

Hmm interesting. I'm not sure how you were able to fill the application online and submit it if the account wasn't active already. Perhaps, I'm missing something since I haven't filed anything online a long time.

The activation code only applies to cases that were filed on paper and mailed to a lockbox.  If you filed online, the case should be there in the online account and by clicking on the "Documents" tab it should give you the button to submit unsolicited evidence.

If you have an online portal you can upload the photos there. or what you can do is take a copy of the receipt notice and put copies of the pictures and write a note stating to add this pictures to your file. send it to the service center that has your file.
