It's traditional (if not, it should be) to begin each new VAWA thread with a joke for a good laugh.  Fortunately, it's also Sunday, so here is our combination Official VAWA-Thread Joke #2 and New-VAWA-Thread Joke:

A man went to see his family doctor.  The man told his doctor that he wasn't able to do all the things around the house that he used to do.

 

When the examination was complete, the man said, "Now, Doc -- I can take it.  Tell me in plain English what is wrong with me."

 

"Well, in plain English," the doctor replied, "you're just lazy."

 

"Great to know!" said the man.  "Now give me the medical term so I can tell my wife."

Hi everyone,

I submitted an inquiry on my i485 case, and they completed review it, I would like to ask how to know the result/response for that inquiry?

Since UICIS received my Medical Exam on April, the status did not change anything else than “ready for schedule an interview”

USCIS will not tell you what they found in the inquiry. USCIS will get back to you, or you can inquire through congressmen or you can send letter to USCIS Vermont, all the best,

Hi fam! Have you guys filled out an Ombudsman request before? Is it something that could hurt your petition in terms of reputation with USCIS? Background: my lawyer told me to fill out the Ombudsman request since my 485 was denied in error saying I didn't have an underlying approved petition as a basis of 485 however I had approved Vawa.

it is not gonna hurt your case. However, this is most useless agency i have seen. I have reached out to them 3 times in the past but they could not help me. 

You might be lucky so go ahead and reach out to them.

Can someone help me with correct address to send my C09 renewal to? my vawa was.approved and my adjustment of status currently at my local office. I think I sent to wrong address, I want to resend a new one. TIA.

You need to send to Vermont.

I do not think you can track this anymore unless you have old USCIS account.

Better off reaching to a congressman or senator. Ombudsman is completely toothless.

Question: I filed whole application by myself I-360/I-485, when i get RFE for my I485, i hired Lawyer, and filled G-28 form, If USCIS will send any RFE for I-360 or PF, will they send it to my lawyer even though i just hired her for I-485? How i can remove my lawyer from my case now?
