You never know until you try.

Be prepared to talk about previous K-1 and relationship as well as new one.

Did you marry last time after coming to the US on K-1? If yes, did you divorce?

I ddnt marry her I left the relationship because it was toxic and she physically abused me so before the marriage even happened I left the US

OK shouldn't be too bad then. Be prepared to answer questions at the interview.

Since then I haven’t been to the US I tried to apply for a b2 visa but I got denied so this is our only option we have as we do want to marry and we have a solid real relationship with lots of proof and she has been to my country a few times to see me

Then marry and apply for a spouse visa CR1. It is far superior to K1 as you get LPR status the moment you enter.. no waiting for work or travel approval which can B take months after entering and marrying on the K 1. Processing  time to GC is similar

No, K-1 is not the only option. CR-1 is also an option.

Are you sure you're marrying for valid reasons and not for immigration benefit? Waiting is going to be a part of both K-1 and CR-1. With K-1 you may be waiting in the US without a job for many months. It's not a cheap place and it can put pressure on new marriage.

I think you need to have a look at current processing times for both processes, from start to finish.  Timelines are far different than they were 6 years ago.

The petition processing is just one step.  There is another new thread here by a user who is adjusting from a K-1, and was quoted 2026 (by USCIS) for the green card processing.  Do you really want to come to the US and have to wait years for a green card?
