Update for me good and bad....

NOA1 recieved Sept. 10...Biometrics done Sept 11 (no problems).....RFE rec'd Sept 14.

OK so some good....and then of course my RFE for W-2's for my hubby, who is a self employed farmer does not get anyways....so a delay of course and now I have to send a lovely letter to them explaining the situation and why there are no W2's to go along with the Affidavit of Support. ::::::::::sigh:::::::::::::

Oct 1/09 - I-751 package sent

Oct 3 - package delivered

Oct 5 - NOA mailed

Oct 13 - 1st NOA received and additional letters for my daughters I filed with. NOAs stated Resident Status

has been extended for 1 year and that we will be receiving a letter for an ASC appointment for

fingerprints, photo, and signature.

Dec 2009 - Received 10 year permanent resident card.

Feb 2010 - My children received their 10 year permanent resident cards.

Oct 2010 - My children were legally adopted by my USA Citizen husband.

So I'm very confused I got a NOA on my I485 (just got it today), that states that we need to appear for "initial"interview on Oct 26th...is this the interview???

I just openend up my noa's for the EAD and AP on the 29th of Aug which was the day after Biometrics....(guess this is another question)the Noa's state that bio is next but no date...what was this bio for then???

Guess it is! Yippie! and about the up to date list comment, I sincerely hope that wasn't a jab at me... :crying:

I've been trying to keep it up to date and didn't want to mention that my dates are in the wrong space...I think it's sweet that whomever is doing it

is willing to keep it updated, I just didn't want to request more of them.So thanks for keeping it updated :content:

Yes, you received your interview date. They state initial interview, but usually that's THE interview, I think they do that to cover themselves in case they have a doubt about the bona fide of the relationship and need to bring the couple back for an other interview (usually Stroke interview when spouses are separated for questions).

Again the NOA is usually received before you get biometrics appointment and the information are made to help you know what will come next. In your case unless the biometrics are not as they want you won't have them again.

Is there anyone else still not appearing on the online system even after having received their NOA1 and having gone to their biometrics?

Not hugely worried, but would like to know, as am a bit paranoid about receipt of mail!

Yap... I filed end of July, had my bio. app. and my NOA1 for EAD and AOS but still can't check anything online... and it's driving me crazy, cause even when I call the hotline and try to talk to someone they keep telling me... you're receipt number is not in the computer at this time, please call again later... that's bull cr*%# :blink: Sorry...

I can check EAD online, but nothing else at the moment.

The online checking is much more backlogged than the actual process...mine is still stuck on when it first popped up(and that was after my bio). I wouldn't worry or bother relying on it.
