Hi;

Today fee increase took effect. It is my guess that a huge number of people have filed all kind of cases to aviod paying high fees. That may slow the issuance of NOA1. Lets track that here. If you mailed application after july 15, please add key dates to this thread. Only AOS applicants please!!!!!

I think the point is to keep track of those people who managed to squeeze in just before the fee increase but fit in either the July or August topics... Since the July topic's cut-off date was July 25, some people (like me) were kindly sent to the August topic instead (meaning we're kinda split between two topics), but this here topic may help gather people who may have a difference "experience" of the whole process due to the hypothetical but likely surge in applications that USCIS may have received toward the end of July.

But hey, I don't really care. The mods can decide what to do.

I really feel that some people are turning this (VJ) into a very judgemental, unfriendly place where people can no longer post unless it's "acceptable", in the "right" forum, in a topic that is deemed "worthy" by some.

What is going on?? When did this start? I've been seeing so much of this lately. I know you "old timers" have a certain way that you're used to, but some newer folks may do things a little differently that work, too.
