Hello everyone i wanted to know if i can get my pakistani wife a UAE and Turkish visit visa while her i130 visa is pending, we want to travel and visit other countries, but would this be a problem for her i130 case? And would this cause problems for her during her interview and do we need to inform embassy about this or update any of her NVC documents? Thank you everyone. @pushbrk

When completing the DS260 she needs to write down all the countries she visited in the last 5 years.

Depending on the country she visits it might lead to extended security checks but it might not.

Don't let the pending I-130 stop you from living your life and seeing your wife.

Good luck an dI hope it is approved soon~

I do not see a problem with visiting Turkey or UAE.

In the 4 years my fiancee were a couple leading up her K-1 visa we met as often as possible and not always in her home country of Burma: Italy, France, Greece, Japan, Thailand, Philippines, India, Nepal, Malaysia, and Vietnam, as I recall, most of which she had never been to.

IME, Turkey is a fantastic place to visit, and your wife should try to go now before she moves to America. I have heard good things about UAE too.

Her traveling with you will bolster her case for a bonafide marriage at difficult embassy.

Yah i know it will help her case alot im just worried about what if they wanted more paperwork because she visited other countries and than what if they delay her case because now they have to do extra background checks because she visited other countries too, what do you think? Thank you.

Pakistanis get extra background checks anyway.  The countries you listed are not extremist countries....you'd want to be careful traveling to countries like Iran.

Stay away from countries on the terror list.  Turkey and UAE are just fine.  No worries at all.  Just because a question is asked, does not mean there's any problem.  It's just a question.
