Welcome to the other side!

Good luck with yours! My husband’s green card arrived today, so we are back on USCIS hiatus for a bit :)

Hello!! I sent my package in February but I recieved the AOS till March 1st.

I also recieved a RFE and we sent it and recieved it on May 1st.

We still don't have any news, but I see in other cases they recieved the permission to work faster! And with us still not moving anything. 😪😔

Note:  If USCIS issues an RFIE for the I-485, it will halt processing for the I-765 until the RFIE has been resolved.

It's a RFE not a RFIE I read that when its RFIE it takes more because is something you should put since the begining that you send the package but this was extra evidence what they send.

But right now we are in a difficult situation with my husband job. I would like if i can ask for a expedite!

I am in the state of Georgia also i hear its taking a longer time here but im not sure. 😪

Received an Request for initial evidence for I-485 regarding missing the I-693. Even though, we have completed the physical exam before entering USA and it was done with in a year of applying for the AOS. No point arguing, so I scheduled the doctors appointment.

Time line -

March  9th Cas was received

March 29th RFE regarding I-864 (missing even though it was included in the same envelope)

April 4th  Biometric Appointment

June 22nd RFE regarding I-693

@PNWUnited No, my husband didn’t get an RFE (but he did have to submit the vaccination part of I-693 with his initial application since he didn’t have a DS-3025; though he didn’t do the whole medical again) nor courtesy letter I see people post about. After the biometrics the next thing we got was approval of AOS in May.

(Packet received 3/17)

Saw on the website that we got an RFE for the I-485 for a birth certificate for the beneficiary. Apparently they need the long form version for Canadian citizens, which we have arriving tomorrow. EAD has yet to be approved, which is quite annoying, but at least there’s finally some sign of life from USCIS. We will upload the birth certificate to the website tomorrow and continue to wait.

Our EAD Combo card was approved yesterday. The I-485 has had a 3 month estimate on it over the last couple weeks or so, but seems like it’s been going down pretty quick! Hopefully it’ll also be approved soon :)
