    Thank you. The approval came from NBC. I got an RFE to send marriage certificate on the 7th and that came from San Francisco field office.

    I had my biometrics appointment yesterday, it was so fast. About an hour later, status changed to Active Review. I hope EAD is approved soon.

    I am filling the form i-485 and i'm a bit confused on what to put as legal name because I have my husbands name as last name on my marriage certificate. Should I put my new name as legal name and then former last name as birth names? Please, I know females filling the form must have gone through this.

    Hello everyone, I came to the US on a K1 visa and got married and I am about to file AOS. I didn't know I could get my SSN even before getting married, I thought I needed the certificate. Now that I have my marriage certificate, I am out of status according to my i-94. So I want to know how to go about getting the SSN. Is there a way to apply for it while filing for AOS? I will appreciate any help. Thank you!

    When the CEAC site changes from "In Transit" to "Ready", does that mean the case is already at the beneficiary's consulate? ...and what are the steps to take please?

    Hey! I see you're ahead of me in this process so you may be able to guide me. I received my case# yest from NVC and our paperwork is in transit. What step should I take? Or do I just wait to be contacted by consulate? Thank you, I hope to hear from you.

      Hi, I just did my medical. Have you done yours? I was told the report will be sent to the consulate. However, I was thinking I will be given the report in a sealed envelope to take with me to the embassy. Any idea on this please?

      This is true, it takes up to 2 to three weeks for the medical to be processed and sent, I would suggest picking it up a day or two before your interview,  that's what my fiance is doing

    😳😳Now, this is actually becoming scary. The situation is worse than I thought 🤔 and to think that the USCIS site still says it's within normal processing time. I've been so angry about all this, I don't know if I still have any anger left to pour out.

    I knew it was going to come to this, the moment I saw they had started processing April cases while they still had many March cases and some February too.
