(Case delayed) 13/09 - Remaining documents sent with PostNL to Mikropakket which they will forward to the US Consulate. 28/09 - Received an email from the US consulate with a track and trace from Mikropakket saying: "The U.S. Department of State Consulate located in Amsterdam has released document related to your Visa application to our courier Mikropakket" 🤞...... Checked the https://ceac.state.gov/ website for the status of my DS-160 NIV case number.....🥁🥁🥁🥁 🎊🎊"ISSUED" !! 🥳 🥳 Anxiety put to rest Our prayers are heard. God is GOOD ! 29/09- Visa RECEIVED! Processing Estimates/Stats : Your I-129f was approved in 379 days from your NOA1 date. Your interview took 488 days from your I-129F NOA1 date.

Consulate Review: Amsterdam, Netherlands Review Topic: K1 Visa Event Description Review Date : August 22, 2022 Embassy Review : The questions were very straightforward. 1. Where did you meet your fiancé ? 2. Have you ever been married before ? 3. Did you use a mariage broker ? 4. For how long have you been living in the Netherlands ? 5. When are you planning to get married ? Most of the staff were friendly but the consular officer that interviewed me seemed to be in a bad mood. Maybe it was the time of the day (afternoon) and I assume because they are under staffed and overworked but nevertheless i answered all the questions. It took about 30 min because there was a misunderstanding of translation on one of my documents that was from a former colony of the Netherlands but was written and legalized in Dutch. I would advise anyone that has a situation like this to get it translated to save yourself the delay because the consular officers are not Native dutch speakers. They are familiar with the documents that come from the dutch government but not the ones from former colonies of the Netherlands so there can be a misunderstanding in translation. Rating : Moderate

POE Review: Phoenix Event Description Entry Date : 2022-10-11 Embassy Review : Went smoothly. The immigration officer looked very serious but was kind and helpful at the same time. He took me to his colleague, who knew more about K-1 visas, to avoid any mistakes. Definitely a situation of 'don't judge the book by it's cover' haha. Very happy to be reunited with my fiancé for good ! Harassment Level : Low
