Biometrics Status not Updated for I-751 1 year later - New ones for N-400

I filed for removal of conditions a year ago and did the Biometrics in December 2021. My case still says 'Case received' which isn't a big deal except I noticed that people who applied for N-400 after me has had their biometrics waived and already were assigned to a location. Many times automatically from the online portal.

I called USCIS to ask and they say they can see the Biometrics on their side but there is nothing I can do to have them update it on the portal. The agent I spoke to also said she sees I am in the queue to be scheduled for another Biometrics. I suspect there is a disjoint between systems and because my status isn't updated for the I-175 it is affecting my N-400 which is giving an approximate completion time of 16 months and is assigned to NBC, not a local location.

Anyone else knows how to trigger the update on USCIS side or have been in similar position? Did you do two Biometrics?

Why do you think you will have a biometrics appointment?

it’s possible but I think improbable

The agent I spoke to told me that.

More concerned that their own system didn't pick up I had one on file and if I'd need to do it again.

Extremely unlikely.

USCIS online system has notoriously been unreliable. So if this was the case - nobody's cases would be getting approved or moving.

My I-751 status never got updated even after I went to my biometrics appointment. My biometrics for N400 were still waived (and no status update there either).

Tier 1 officers  know less than you.

Every case where you pay a biometrics fees requires an USCIS case worker to look at previous nineties and make a session whether to schedule a collection or waive it.  The decision to collect your N-400 biometrics hasn’t been made.

Thanks. Just wondering why other people to submitted N-400 online got an instant waiver for Biometrics plus their location assigned.

While you're mostly correct, it's not a 100% accurate statement.

I called Tier 1 officers on 2 instances:

1. When I was waiting for my AOS approval: the lady was able to pull up my case and told me that it was ready to be scheduled for interview; however home country had not returned my background check which caused the delay.

2. When I was waiting for my N400 approval: another agent told me that she actually saw that my biometrics had been reused and "pushed through" (c) the notice (which updated the very next day to my online account) and then I received an interview notice 1 week after that.

Filed for ROC a year ago more or less. My case was transferred to NBC in December 2021 (from Texas). Nothing got updates since then and I filed my N400 a couple of weeks ago and I have my biometrics appointment in 2 weeks. Online isn’t updated but I received a letter for the same time to do biometrics for my i751 so I assume that the cases will just get processed at the same time (at least regarding biometrics). Just hoping that everything runs smoothly and that we can be done!
