Hello Family,

I have just recieved the letter of transfer for my I-485.

It says. it has transferred date of 09-13-2022. " in order to speed up the processing,  we transferred the application or petition your ( case ) to

National Benefit Center lee's summit, MO 64064 )

I was under the impression it was transferred to local office, Does this mean it's gonna be a little while longer to hear anything from them? or this is a good thing? @ax1990 @Julie15

I received rfe for birth certificate mid august from nbc, prior to that my file was at Vermont. Responded in early September, haven’t heard anything since. My medicals expired too but wasn’t asked for it. It will be transferred to local office next and they will determine whether to interview or send rfe. If your case was transferred, you know it’s moving and it’s a good sign.

Just received my C31 EAD this weekend, impatiently waiting for the approval notice, as well as any deficiency or rfe for 485 since my 485 was also transferred to nbc. I feel like I’ve scaled a fence after 360 approval and the journey continues on the other side lol

I have filed my Vawa in 2020 from NJ. I have to move due to work to another state. I have sent the application to update the address but never received a response from USCIS and address is not changed as i received my prima facie at the old address even after requesting the address change. What should I do. pleas suggest.

Can someone please help me out with this, i am scared of any letters getting lost due to old address.

One idea is to contact your Congressman's office and ask the immigration liaison to confirm the change with the USCIS VAWA unit.

Hello family, I sent my whole package on Oct 2019 and got my i360 approved last month. Today the i485 says “ready to be scheduled for an interview”. The address that I have on my driver’s license is now different from the address I have given to USCIS. Even though I primarily live in the address given to the USCIS, I applied for my DL in a different state because my DL got expired and applied when I was working in the other state temporarily. Do you think this will be a problem or not? And I vaguely remember something about a medical that I must take with me to the interview, can someone guide me that as well? Thanks in advance.
