Hi everyone, I have a quick question. 
 

I sent my package via express mail through USPS And today it said. “ Available for Pickup 
CAROL STREAM, IL 60197  
Your item arrived at the CAROL STREAM, IL 60197 post office at 2:05 pm on September 8, 2022 and is ready for pickup. “ 

 

So , I wonder if there’s someone at the Uscis that picks up mail ?  I was sure the mail got directly delivered to them.

It's a PO Box. Mine was delivered on Saturday and it charged to available for pickup. On Tuesday it changed to delivered.

Checked FedEx tracking number for the status of delivery. Not from USCIS.

Credit Card was just charged and also received the text message. EAC case number.

i totally forgot to fill out and send  text messages form... check was cashed, how long will it take to get notification form with case number?

I will be moving soon, just found out my lease won`t be renewed and we have to move before the end of the month..... timing is bad....

@Charlys&Indy make sure you receive the letter, it serves as an extension for your Green Card for 24 months. Also, remember to update your address within 10 days of moving.

Yes, that's one of the primary uses - for travelling internationally. Expired Green Card and valid extension letter is needed to enter the US.

People have generally been receiving the NOA in the mail about 1 week after receiving indications that the case was created (text message if you had filled out that form, but since you saw the check was cashed you can assume that you might receive it next Friday or maybe even that following Monday.
