And now here

So, did you worked without authorization and have a plus that you claimed that you were a US national?

Again, trying to get answers to your situation without sharing the truth will never give you the correct answers.

If you want anyone here to help you, telling us the reality of your case will help more. Create new posts will not solved.

So if I applied for a job while claiming to be an American which am not sure I did but out of curiosity does that mean am not eligible for this application. Citizenship via u.s citizen

On a serious note, there’s a few IFs & ANDs..for false claims…but a false claim is not the same as unauthorized employment ….and at adjustment stage USCIS is not asking for/ looking int/investigating the past employer’s HR records.

Not long ago, a false claim ONLY counted if it was made for an immigration benefit ( like crossing the border) ..but that has changed.

And so “if “ someone applied for a job and filed out an I-9 claiming USC ….AND they end up in removal proceedings AND they have a fierce gov’t attorney assigned THAT WILL go after past employment records…then YUP , it’s a fatal blow.

Here’s a quick pick and easy read from a random lawyer website:

4th Circuit and I-9 Fraud: False Claim to U.S. Citizenship, I-9 Fraud being treated as an “Immigration Benefit,” and the Adjustment of Status Process
