She had a job in Malaysia for 2 years from 2013-2015. Do I need to put that job in this location?

Yes.

She will need a Police Certificate from Malaysia once your case reaches NVC stage. Probably a good idea to start looking into that was well.

I just wanted to chime in and tell you that we did a "Utah Wedding" from Thailand in July. About half way through my month-long visit we decided to get married. We started the process for a Thai marriage but soon realized there was not enough time to get the paperwork through the US embassy and various Thai ministries before I had to fly back to the US. After some research we found out about the Utah video conference option. We did that and it was incredibly easy - and of course we've met "in person" since the wedding ceremony since we were actually together for that bit (was me, her, and her parents (as witnesses), with plenty of pictures and screenshots), which we did in our hotel room before heading down to the temple.

We're just putting together our I-30 etc. now, but I think everything is cool as far as the marriage paperwork goes. If you have any questions or want a recommendation for an easygoing reverend, feel free to drop me a line.

When adding a child of 15 to the mix here do I need a special form for that? I entered his information in the online I-130 but do I need to do another form for him like the I-130A I am doing for her? He will need to go through all the medical and bio-metrics my spouse will as well correct?

You do not add you petition a step child.

“If you know the enemy and know yourself, you need not fear the result of a hundred battles. If you know yourself but not the enemy, for every victory gained you will also suffer a defeat. If you know neither the enemy nor yourself, you will succumb in every battle.”

You'll be filing two petitions, but you can put them together.  How to do this is found in the I-130 instructions you download from USCIS.gov

Asking questions here is no substitute for becoming an A-Student of those instructions.  We're here for the instructions you don't understand.

So I would file an I-130 for him as well and pay a separate fee is that correct?

Yes, and you would not be asking this question if you studied those crucial instructions I keep referring you to.  Your study of those instructions will be critical to your ultimate success.  Until you study them, you won't know what you don't know.  See anonymous quote in my signature.

Everyone learns differently. I don't learn as well by reading and I learn best when I am shown. I am sorry if my questions are irritating you.

We just recently filed our I-130 etc. using the online option and I thought it did a fair job of walking me through the steps. The list of extra documents was especially helpful. Haven't heard anything yet (though the credit card was charged almost immediately of course :) ).

Your questions are not irritating me.  You not reading the instructions for yourself, is likely to be a problem for you.  If you cannot learn from reading, you probably should not be trying to do this yourself.  It's all  "reading".  Even the questions on the forms must be READ, then interpreted literally, then answered accurately.  I'm not judging you.  I'm advising you and telling you how important it is to read and study the instructions.

We cannot "show" you how to do it.  Even our answers must be read and understood.  You could hire a professional to ask YOU the questions, then do it FOR YOU.
