Hello All I have a question regarding: Form I-129f Page 8. Question 53.

Have you and your fiance met in person during the two years immediately before filing this petition?

Does this mean I need to have met my fiance in person within the last 24 months if I submit today? Or does it mean I met her in person sometime over 24 months ago?

I have met her multiple times in person within the last 16 months. So do I mark "Yes" or "No"

"Yes", and have proofs like pics.

Yes. Technically, even once within the last 24 months is sufficient to apply.

Do I sign and date this page?

If so where do I sign and date it?

Or is that only for additional copies of this page?

Petitioner signs/date on Page 10, Item 6.

Interpreter (if there is one) signs/date on Page 11, Item 7.

Preparer (if there is one) signs/date on Page 12, Item 8.

Page 13. Part 8 are for any additional information that you did not have enough space to explain more from the previous pages.

Just a simple signed statement. There are examples available here on VJ. You can do one together, or usually each fiancee does one separate and signs. Took 5 minutes to put mine and my now wife's together, that's the easiest part of the process. Check the consulate closer to interview time, some require updated letter for the interview. My wife and I did updated ones with dates closer to the interview, but they were never asked for. Should be samples in the guides here, or a quick google search should pull a few up.

Hello All,

Form I-129F: What evidence do I submit that I intend to marry within 90 days of their admission to the US as a k-1 non-immigrant?

Do I need signatures, dates, venues, etc? Or just a statement that we intend to marry signed by both of us?

Any details and help on this is appreciated.

Question: Letters of intent to marry

We have 2 letters of intent to marry within 90 days upon my fiance's arrival.

One for me the petitioner. And one for my fiance the beneficiary.

My Fiance lives in another country. Can she print hers, sign it, then email me a copy? Or does she have to print it out, sign it, and mail me the original with the signature?

Thanks

Question: Translations

I'm reading the rules of the I-129f and came across this:

"If you submit a document with information in a foreign language, you must also submit a full English translation. The translator must sign a certification that the English language translation is complete and accurate, and that he or she is competent to translate from the foreign language into english..."

The evidence I was going to submit of our proof of an ongoing relationship was a lot of Facebook messages between us in a "Foreign Language." Is this considered a document that I would need to get a full English translation of?  If so, do you know a website or service that provides this?

Thanks
