Hello Everyone, I submitted my application Jan 11 2022 online under the 3 years rule. The last update I got was at same day and it states biometric applied to my application. I called USCIS today and I was told that as of June 8th 2022 an office glance through my case. Please I would really appreciate if someone can explain what this mean because the representative told me that there was no note placed on my account.

Thank you.

Not sure why your are bugging.

Processing time for Atlanta is 17.5 months and someone has glanced at your file, and previous biometrics has been applied to your case.

Don't try to read a meaning into everything that has been done.

Just wait the process out.

Not sure. You might get an update on Monday. Or it might not be for another 2 years before you hear anything. It varies for everyone. All I can say is good luck and don't worry too much, it will be done at some point.

That's just some sort of bs answer because they feel bad for saying "no, we haven't touched your application". I have no faith on agents that pick up the phone. They are tier 1 officers that see the exact same thing you see online.

You spoke to a tier 1 officer and you’ve wasted your time as they know nothing.

Few N-400s are adjudicated in less than 6 months.

Thanks but do you know sometimes the call route to Tier 2. So you never know. Because I called again and I was told they never saw anything regarding to the June 8th.

If you read some of the reports from more recent filers, 3 months doesn't seem to be all that uncommon now. The current administration is really speeding things up it seems.

3 months or less is highly dependent on field office.

Your timeline says Dallas

Now you have a realistic expectation on your own timeline and OP has the tools to get a realistic expectation of OP’s timeline

Incorrect. The ones that pick up the phone are always tier 1. You have to request for a tier 2, and IF they call you back it’s 30+ days.

Dependent on field office, but all field offices are getting faster. They are trying to speed it up across the board: https://www.uscis.gov/newsroom/news-releases/uscis-announces-new-actions-to-reduce-backlogs-expand-premium-processing-and-provide-relief-to-work

Strongly disagree. This is only for employment- based applications. The rest are still pretty backlogged.
