Our petition is finally showing on CEAC as ready. I have already filed the DS-160 and paid the MRV fee but it is not yet showing as valid (paid yesterday at noon). It was supposed to already be reflected within 4-6 hours How long would we have to wait for that so that we could schedule our interview already? I have spoken to people on facebook as well and they are telling me that I need to upload documents on CEAC and an invoice number and welcome letter but I haven't seen anything about that in the guides I've checked and it's making me really nervous. What are you really supposed to do at this point? Any advice would be appreciated.

Sounds like your just waiting to be able to schedule your interview.  Normally, K-1s don't upload documents to CEAC.  I just moved this to the Philippines regional forum for our PI experts to consider.

***I'll move it back to the general K-1 process area if you want*****

K1 applicants do not need to upload documents to CEAC.  The required civil documents and financial support documents must be hand-carried by the K1 applicant to the visa interview.

After paying MRV fee at RCBC bank at about 1pm, ours took about 24 hours to show up so that we could then schedule the interview.

Congrats!  You also booked an appointment for SLEC medical at least a few days before the visa interview, right?

yes I did! It's this week. I'm surprised at how fast it's going now and also I keep thinking how it was all supposed to be this fast in the first place.
