Approved finally. My timeline below. Interestingly I had just contacted my Senators office last Thursday. The approval happened on Friday. So, I doubt they are related, but an interesting coincidence. This wait comes to an end. I hope to get my citizenship done in a couple of months, and be done with USCIS for a while.

06/20/2019 - Biometrics complete

02/19/2020 - Case was transferred to Potomac Field Office for faster processing

02/04/2021 - Case was transferred to NBC for faster processing

04/23/2021 - New card is being produced

Congratulations!  Looks like our timeline is very similar, however we are still waiting.  I can only hope that we will follow soon, but not holding my breath anymore. We gave up waiting for ROC and filled for naturalization a few month ago. Hoping for a combo interview and finally be done with this process.

I applied for naturalization in July of 2020. That is still in process, waiting for an interview. I was thinking it would be a combo interview for me too, but then the I-751 got approved without an interview and they shipped me the card. Have you tried reaching out to your senators yet?

still no news on the I-751?! Are you able to submit a request with USCIS or are these "normal processing times"?? hopefully you get settled soon!

Yes both avenues of approach are my next steps. I submitted a USCIS request the other day because we are 5 months outside the "normal processing time." The normal processing time is 19.5 to 21.5 months and our case has been pending for 25 months now. We were transferred from Vermont to Potomac back in February 2020 to "balance the case load." However, everyone that stayed at VSC was approved and those that got sent to Potomac just sat there with a very slow trickle of approvals. At the 18 month mark I got sent an RFI to make sure our case was still active so I had to update everything. I figure I'll give them till the end of the month and then contact my Senator. This waiting game is ridiculous. We gave up waiting for the ROC approval and sent in or N-400. So the only hope we have now is for a duel interview ROC + Naturalization. Time will tell I guess.

I remember. Our cases were transferred to Potomac at the same time yet our paths have diverged quite a bit since then. Good luck!!

I'm very happy for you guys and a huge Congratulations to both of you!!! I'd really like to know why our cases diverged and I have to be honest, I'm pretty jealous!  LOL I can't wait till this nightmare is over. Each step of the process has been a giant pain in the butt and has created far too much unneeded stress. For now I can only pray, but my patience with USCIS is wearing thin.

We filed 05/24/2019 & had the ready to be schedule for an interview since 09/2019 & this past Saturday finally received notice for a combo interview for the end of July .

Yeah. Looks like we are in the same boat. Were you transferred to Potomac in February 2020? I'm going to give them till the second week in July then I'm going to contact my Senator.
