I’m guessing others who are doing the k1 visa process with the Philippines are probably going through this as well. St Luke’s medical extension clinic rescheduled my fiancée’s swab and medical exam appointment without even asking us first. Now we will have to reschedule because the appointments are way too soon and she doesn’t have all her paperwork together. This is really not a question but just a statement of frustration. I will probably have to make a new interview appointment as well for the visa. Just wondering if anyone else is going through this type of issue with the medical exam for the Philippines.

do not reschedule the embassy interview

go and interview

the case will be on hold while they wait for the medical exam notes

many are going thru this in many embassies

I have not heard that before and I’m trying to find some resources to back your claim up. I have heard, at least with the us embassy in Manila, that you will not be allowed in the consolation unless you have done the medical first. You have stated many embassies but that doesn’t mean the Philippines are allowing this. But I’m going to ask my lawyer and ask some other people about this. I need evidence for this before I try having her do this.

I got Sputum on Oct 2021 and need to reschesule my interview. You can't proceed to the actual US consul interview without your medical. The pre interview will ask your documents and double check everything before they allow you to fingerprints and to the final stage.

*my experience.

so many of our VJ members have had to attend the interview without the medical since covid issues started

Those VJ members are not from the Philippines.  The US embassy in Manila does not allow visa applicants to proceed with interview without completing the medical exam first.

CEAC site will say Refused while the case goes into AP waiting for the medical to happen

They will not allow the Interview to proceed without the medical in the Philippines. They will turn you away during the prelininary document review.

then make the first possible medical and ask to rescheule interview

understand the new appointment could be 6 months to late for the medical to be valid and a new one can be needed

I'll probably get in trouble for saying this but as a general rule I just ignore someone commenting on a post about the Philippines if their avatar doesn't reflect that they are associated with the process for the Philippines. There are a few exceptions. You will learn who they are the more you post here. Chancy has given you the correct answer up thread.

Finally done...
