I explained before, it's something every single applicant goes through. There's nothing out of the ordinary about this. Just keep waiting, there's no way around it. You just have to wait it out.

There are people here who cannot even get an appointment, who have to wait up to 1-2 years just to schedule one, that's how badly backed up many embassies and consulates are. Just be glad you're pretty much almost done and will get your passport back with visa in hand soon.

Hello, After 2 weeks without the visa and passport being sent to me, I sent them an email asking if something was wrong and they answered this:

"We inform you that the system has not yet authorized us to issue your visa. As soon as the system authorizes us, we will proceed to issue your visa"

Has anyone had a similar experience or know of someone? I don't understand what are they waiting for! I imagine there will be delays at the embassy, I have also looked in my visa account where you make the interview date etc (not the status page) and it says current status: appointment and also

"the applicant has no 221 history "
In my status page say last case update the same day of my interview! seems no one touch my visa case!

Hello, a few days ago I made a post about my case but I wanted to update and see if anyone has experience in these things.

I had my interview and it was approved, everything was perfect, the official consular told me that in 5 to 10 days I would receive my passport with the visa, 16 days have passed and still nothing
My status says administrative processing, but what surprises me the most is that my last case date update is the same day as the interview, as if no one had touched my case.

Also in my visa account where one confirms the appointment and all these things, it says: current status appointment and also that my application does not have 221 history
I sent an email to the embassy and they told me this: the system has not YET authorized the issuance of your visa, as soon as they give permission we will issue the visa and send it to your address.
 

I think that everything is fine and that there are big delays in issuing visas, because of Covid and the situation in Ukraine and Russia, but every time the days go by I get more nervous, the interview was perfect and I was very happy but now the anxiety begins to appear

Do you think it is due to delays? that puts on the web too, that there may be delays, so are you optimistic? I also never had 221 form or anything! thank you!!

I already have the visa and everything is perfect, thank you all for the help!
after not being able to use ESTA anymore, it is a great joy to get the visa and be able to travel to the usa for tourism!
