Hello March 2022 K1 NVC to Consulate,

I am in the Feb 2022 and we had some useful discussions to determine the details of the NVC step and how to determine the wait time and the next processing steps.

https://www.visajourney.com/forums/topic/778486-february-2022-k1-noa2-to-nvc-to-embassy

After you get your NVC Case number, you can check your status at the CEAC Stat Tracker.

https://ceac.state.gov/CEACStatTracker/Status.aspx?App=IV

Those "At NVC" wait times seems to depend on the embassy/consulate caseloads, which I have 2 posts to help provide an expected estimate:

Also, do remember to fill out your Timeline as your data helps improve the visajourney stats pages to help others, and you can view others Timeline as well to get an idea of what they are experiencing.

As shown in our Timeline, we are very fortunate to have a relative short wait time from NOA2 to Consulate received (about 1 month), and that caught me by surprise (but a nice surprise). I had to rush researching and preparing for the next steps, which I tried to document some of it to help others and you can do the same as well. So good luck to all.

Hi all,

Our case was approved on March 1st. We have yet to receive the NOA2 in the mail (27 days now).

Did you all receive yours?

We submitted an inquiry under "Have not Received a Notice" on the USCIS website. Hopefully they respond positively.....

Hi, we were approved on February 28th. Still not heard anything or even received a notice through the mail yet. Ive asked my fiancé to call the NVC since she is the one who lives in the US but it’s hard to get through to anyone at the hours that she can call. So, we play the waiting game again. Good luck to you!

We checked earlier today our case status and it was updated from 'at NVC' to 'In transit'!!

Super excited for the next stage - getting closer! Booked the medical in advance for the first week of May in London, so hopefully we will have received the email/letter from NVC or embassy with our case number by then. 🤞

Hello fellow fillers! Our case was updated to 'Ready' today - it only took four days to update from 'In Transit' to 'Ready'.

Next step to book an interview with the embassy!

All the best to the rest of you! 🙂

Just for the case number? 🥲 What the hell...I guess it tracks with their timeframes but still this is horrible.

Thank you for the info.

I got approved on March 17 and was wondering if my petition has reached NVC yet. I'm already buying time staying in Europe and throwing 2 months just for the damn case number isn't helping at all.

Then today. Still no. The timeframe is 8 weeks. I will call again in 2 weeks.

Have you called them at all yet?

Haven't called, no. Our legal rep sent the expedite request email around March 20...now I see why there hasn't been a reply. Will reach out to see what could be done.

I guess by the time my petition goes through all circles of the US immigration hell, war in Ukraine will be done and I could as well just go home.
