Hello, I just filled for my spouse today and sent in my I-130 petition for spouse online and received priority date of Jan 15 2022. I wanted to know about how long average wait is it before USCIS makes a decision? has anyone recently heard anything and if so how long did It take for you?

I have filled before for Finace visa k1 before It took USCIS 7 months to approve and then after our case went to Mumbai India at the interview our case was put into administrative processing. We withdrew that case since it was taking too long and we couldn't wait any longer to get married.

I know the process is long and different for everyone but if anyone has any insight please share

18 months or so would be a reasonable guess.

I would say 6 to 12 months.  If you are really lucky you may get within 6 months.  What service center your case went to?  you can see the bottom left corner in the receipt notice.

YES, I agree.  There is a chance it will trigger to get attention on I130 quicker.  I have filed K3 after 3 weeks of I130.  In some cases what I have checked it helped to get attention to I130.  But I doubt it hurts and takes more time for USCIS.  There was quite a bit of discussion in this thread if you are interested to read.

6 months to get the visa?  No.

If you are a US citizen, petition processing times at TSC are currently 10.5 - 13.5 months.  The time it takes between petition approval and visa in hand can really vary.  18 mo-2 years is a reasonable expectation for the entire process.

Some how the processing center timelines are little confusing.. but approvals are coming earlier than the announced processing times.  As per my knowledge in this forum following on timelines and cases

Thank you for this information, Did you send in the i-129 in the mail for k3? What documents did you attach with it? Did it help your case ?
