Hi all,

I'm a K1 visa applicant from Canada.

I have my K1 Visa interview next week in Montreal!

I did my medical examination last month in Maple, Ontario with Dr. Ian Zatzman.

Everything seemed to be okay but, the doctor did not give me the medical exam result in a sealed envelope.

He said it was emailed to the US consulate instead.

What should I do?

Has anyone experienced this?

Is this how it is being processed now because of COVID?

I just want to make sure that I will be okay when I go to the interview.

As far as my own experience goes (London) - that is the correct procedure. You get them back in a stamped and sealed envelope from the embassy when they sent you your passport with (hopefully!) your visa inside.

Good luck!

Thank you!!
I did keep all the receipts from the medical exam just in case and they even gave me a CD containing my x-ray results.

Looking forward to it :)

He should have given you a copy of your DS-3025 vaccination worksheet. You need a copy of if not only for your own records but to include it with AOS application.

Usually applicant needs to request it at the time of the medical.  You are correct that it will be very important for the AOS.

When COVID hit, all of the Canadian approved providers switched to digital medical results sent straight to the Consulate.  No need to worry, you'll be fine.
