My fiance is from the U.S. and we took an appointment at the U.S. embassy to get an affidavit and eligibility for marriage and that's not the only thing we need we need his passport copy notarized  the problem is that I don't know whether I need an appointment for each one or just one appointment for both I'm afraid we will be turned away for only having one appointment cause on the confirmation page of the appointment it's said one service and not two and the number of services we need is 2

In summary, it took 13 months for approval of the CR-1.  It took 44 months for approval of the I-751.  It took 4 months for approval of the N-400.   It took 172 days from N-400 application to Oath Ceremony.   It took 6 weeks for Passport, then 7 additional weeks for return of wife's Naturalization Certificate..

Depending on the state he lives in

i got mine directly from county clerk office (cost only $15 )

she can also pay for and get the Federal one from FBI but takes longer

 

so what is her state / i will look  it up and let you know

BTW    easy to find out this as she can google it online 

 

Florida  fee is 24

He lives in Florida state but he lived in several states before but the current one he is living in is Florida!! So should he get it from Florida police department  is Florida counted as the last state he resided in?
