Oh wow :( thats a long time. It does say they working on last week of sep in the frame at nvc and how would I know when the interview  would be , do they tell you an estimate? Have u gotten a date yet? When did u become DQ?

Once you get DQ (documentarily qualified) from NVC, then you can make an estimate. For instance, US embassy in Islamabad, Pakistan, is currently working on September 2020 DQ cases. So, we have to wait at least a year for the interview after DQ. Also, NVC takes 2+ months to review your documents, give a DQ, and put you in line for an interview.

my husband is here and citizen /  he came in 2015

we did not go thru all this with all these covid delays

you are going thru a longer process than "normal"  as covid set all back

i got the case # in just 2 weeks but now?? taking about 2 months

Once u pay the 2 fees to NVC and complete the DS 260 and AOS with all supporting documents,  u will be dq and on hold while the embassy and NVC work on the interview date.   all this depends on how many cases are ahead of yours and any restrictions the embassy has because of covid

Oh my wow! Thats crazy. I hope it goes back to normal, its so unfair.

Oh!! At least it approved!!

Thankyouuu

Now my case says its closed does that just mean Uscis has closed my case and transferred it to nvc

I'm sorry I didn't reply to this sooner. I just saw it. I don't know why it would say that your case is closed. It would make more sense, I think, if it said completed. I think I would call and ask to speak with a tier 2 agent who might be able to explain it.

No problem buddy, but i do believe it just means they have transferred it and its closed from there because it did get approved but I’ll also call and check with a agent. Do i just call uscis customer service? Whats a tier 2 agent?

Ours never showed "closed", but that doesn't mean it's impossible. I really don't know, but I would want to find out. Our online status didn't say this, but the email notification said our case status was, "Post Decision Activity". A Tier 2 agent is an agent who has access to more information than the person who answers the phone. I'm also not sure if you would call USCIS or NVC. I suspect the latter. I'll do a little more reading on this. I don't want to cause you to worry, and you did get the approval, but it's better to be sure of this entire process.

You can just ask if you can speak to a tier 2 agent.  Anyway, as I said I didn't want to cause you to worry when it's probably fine. You have the pdf, which is your approval  If the pdf includes instructions on what to do next, follow them now. You don't have to wait for a letter to come in the mail. The pdf is an exact copy of that letter. @biish gave you some great advice. Good luck to you! I've followed you so I can keep up on your progress. 😃

I don’t think yu have anything to worry about if it says your petition was approved. The same document that yu see online, are the same documents they will send yu. I think at this point, USCIS has done their work which is probably why it says CLOSED.

Did ur nvc letter come?  I will try to call but I believe it does mean that its just transferred and they closed it. I did get a email and imessage which was like we took am action on ur case open the website so when i did it said case closed on the side. I just am anxiouw about nvc stage i want this quick
