Hello,

Does anyone know how I can tell when NVC starts reviewing documents? Does the status change in the account to in Review?

Their timeline currently is 2 months. From experience, has it ever been less that that for anyone?

Thank you

As I recall, the status is "At NVC" until the DQ email is issued.  Someone can correct me if the process has changed.

can say "ready for interview" or "ready to schedule"

but u do nothing after submitting AOS and ds260 and supporting documents

the embassy and NVC work together to schedule CR1 interviews and will notify you when case is sent to embassy

sorry I mean at the ceac account. Is currently showing submitted for me. Does it usually change to in review or something?

From what I’ve seen, “submitted” will change to “accepted” for all your documents and you’ll have a new message from NVC on CEAC saying that everything has been accepted and that you’re now documentarily qualified.

My step-daughter was DQ yesterday. I first noticed it by randomly checking CEAC status page. It started at "Pay fees", then "Complete Form DS-260", then "Submit requested documents". The status had been on "Submit requested documents" the whole time I was waiting for review. Yesterday I noticed it changed to "At NVC" a little before noon so I logged in and found a message saying DOCUMENTARILY QUALIFIED. There was no email until about midnight last night when I received two e-mails. One notifying me DQ and one notifying me to check my messages. So, I would say that if you happen to be checking your status or messages you 'might' find out some news like 12 hours earlier than waiting for the e-mail. That was a resubmission of a single document and it took 67 days from submission to review. I have been monitoring timeframes of others fairly closely and that tis in line with what the vast majority of cases are taking. Although continuously throughout the wait there has been a small percentage of cases that seem to inexplicably be reviewed sooner by up to a month. A month or two ago the "NVC Timeframes" page was complete fiction. At that time the numbers there were worthless. At this time however that page seems to be accurate again.

Did the day you got DQ match the in NVC timeline? They are looking at files submitted to them 6/23. Can you share when all your files were submitted?

Yes.  I resubmitted that document June 25.  It was approved a day after they said  they were reviewing June 23.  A month or two ago the timeframes page was wildly inaccurate. But at this time it seems to be accurate again.
