Biometric appointment’s time

Hi, I would like to ask people’s experience on how long the biometric appointment itself took you?

I got my scheduled appointment on the same date I have a flight to go to  Washington DC to my country’s consulate for personal reasons. If the appointment doesn’t take longer 1,5 hours, I can still make it to my flight.

I assume it’s different in every state, but still would like to know people’s experience.

If theres no line waiting, the actual biometrics only takes 5 mins.

Ours was in Elizabeth NJ and, even though we had an appointment, it still seemed like first come first served. We got there a little before our appointment time and had to get onto a loooong line just to check in. Then we waited for a couple of hours for my husband to be called. Once he was in, it was quick but we had to wait hours for the quickness to happen.  I know some peoples' experiences were much different and they were in and out. I would plan for a long wait, just in case.

I had mine done on July 30th. Appointment was scheduled at 3pm but I arrived fifteen minutes early. I was in and out by 3:05. Pretty quick and easy process!
