Hello Guys, I just found out through the ceac site that our visa is in Trasit. But it says "Your interview date was provided to you by the NVC". How do I check it? do they send a email, or a mail. How do you proceed from now on? I'm the beneficiary. Thank you.

Did you expedite your case?  This message is sometimes incorrectly sent to K-1 visa applicants.  Normally, K-1 applicants must schedule their own interview appointments.

No we didn't.

Also another question. We are a super lucky couple with awesome timing hahahaha I'm kinda upset right now because we were waiting for over a year and he's been employed for the whole process until 2 days ago he got laid off. I'm sorry if I sound ungrateful when there's a lot of people waiting as well. I'm just .... well isn't it ironic. Sorry lol. So my question is, definetely prepare a Co-sponsor right? Does my fiance need to do the I-134 as well even when he got laid off?

Moved from K1 P&P to K1 Case Filing and Progress Reports

it’s a generic message sent to everybody. NVC doesn’t provide an interview date for K1s, only for spousal and other immigrant visas.

They sent us an email telling us the date of the interview. We tried to schedule it ourselves but they emailed us telling us our date and also that we could not reschedule and that they new it was very last minute so if we didn’t have all our documents in order to still come to the interview and that we could submit the documents after. There were no medical appointments available  prior to our interview date so we have to do that after. My fiancé has his interview tomorrow. Our case was “ready” 7/22/2021 and interview is 8/4/2021 so they are moving very quickly.

They sent it to the beneficiary. Did you fill out your DS160? Did you pay the fee?

I'm gonna do that tomorrow or thursday. The case is still in transit and if just like yours we should be getting the "ready" tomorrow.

Hello @AmberS Did you get the email after filling/submitting the DS-160? How do you send the prove of payment to them? Cos you only use the reference number to pick a date... Thanks

I'm still confused on how the consulate is gonna send an E-mail to the beneficiary if there wasn't any place to fill the beneficiary email on the I-129F form.  Do I need to send and email to the consulate?

Some consulates email packet 3 to the petitioner, and then you forward it to the beneficiary.

Would have come from the consulate, not the NVC.  NVC does not schedule K-1 interviews.
