N400 Timeline

So my wife's case was received on July 20th and then the next NOA was the 24th saying it was being reviewed. There was apparently an update from yesterday August 2nd that said an interview was scheduled. We have not received the NOA in the mail yet. Does this seem fast to anyone? Correct me if I am wrong but the swearing in ceremony would be the next step correct? I was assuming that maybe at the beginning of next summer we would hear something.

If you have created an account with the USCIS, there may be something within the documents tab. Otherwise you should get something in the mail typically 7-10 days after notification. 
 

if it is an interview notice then thank the N400 gods. Assuming she passes the interview, the oath is scheduled either for the same day to whenever the location can fit you in. In other words, USCIS office specific.

We submitted my wife's N-400 online on June 21 2021 and she had her interview and Oath Ceremony on July 27th.

Wow lucky birds. Mine is Seattle and that has to be the worst of all USCIS offices for N-400 still waiting for over a year and my ROC is held hostage for 2 years. 
I am glad for you all who get the ROC and N-400 fast.

Seattle is the worst. I submitted mine 8 months ago in Seattle and still no interview yet. I don’t get it why people should wait so long due to while they reside and others get interviews super fast.

LOL......simple math.  Seattle has a huge number of petitions and applications.  Other, less populated places, do not.

Doesn’t make sense. Seattle definitely not as huge as Los Angeles and definitely don’t have more petitions but Los Angeles is way faster. What’s the rationale?

LA has had its share of delays as well.
