Boarding foils run about 500 US dollars also. I'm sure the passport will be less, but if money is no object.....

looks like 575, but you get it in 1-2 days.

Pay the fee for the I-131A online in ELIS *(see exception below) – The fee of $575.00 must be paid online prior to your appointment at the U.S. Consulate

I think its for if lost or stolen green card?? Idk if works for my situation.  I can pay whatever needs to pay i need to back to work asap.

My friend to get one because he lost his passport.  It covers you if you lost the way you would prove eligibility to enter the US.  Passport,  greencard, etc. From my experience.

Here on a K1? Need married and a Certificate in hand within a few hours? I'm here to help. Come to Vegas and I'll marry you Vegas style!!   Visa Journey members are always FREE for my services. I know the costs involved in this whole game of immigration, and if I can save you some money I will!

@Dennizgarza, instead of a boarding foil it should be an emergency limited validity 12 page U.S. passport or a Transportation Letterhttps://uk.usembassy.gov/u-s-citizen-services/u-s-passports/emergency-passports-including-emergency-travel/

The CBP guide states the following in regards to Boarding foils: https://www.cbp.gov/sites/default/files/assets/documents/2019-Mar/2019 Carrier Information Guide - ENGLISH.pdf "The Department of State may issue Lincoln boarding foils to U.S. lawful permanent residents, refugees, asylees, and parolees." Whereas a Transportation Letter "may be issued to a U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident, or refugee"

So much information telling you you need a US passport to enter and exit. Didn’t they mention this at oath ceremony too? And since 2019 you haven’t done it?
I would also contact embassy to get at least a boarding foil if cannot get passport abroad, carrier won’t board with you a naturalization certificate, they have no way of determining if it is genuine.

They would not issue a boarding foil to a US citizenship.  But, they can issue a limited validity US passport at the Embassy/Consulate.

Lesson learned for all reading this post, whether you’ve applied for naturalization or are planning to: once you’re out of your Oath ceremony and on your way to the celebration, stop by the post office and get the passport!

I haven’t even applied for ROC yet, but I already plan on getting my passport once I’m a citizen. Sometimes being anxious helps you plan ahead.

Just a note that sometimes new citizens already have scheduled trips abroad right after the Oath ceremony. In those cases they shouldn't submit a first-time US passport application at the post office since that type of application requires the original Naturalization Certificate to be sent-in to DOS. Instead they can depart the US with their Naturalization Certificate. There is no outbound CBP passport counter and INA § 215(b) no longer has an associated penalty: http://isaacbrocksociety.ca/2013/05/01/the-history-of-the-requirement-that-u-s-citizens-only-use-u-s-passports-to-enter-the-u-s/ "The punishment for violating the law?"

They could then contact an ACS outside of the US and ask for their US passport processing times. When flying back, having the US passport is the most straightforward option: https://www.cbp.gov/sites/default/files/assets/documents/2019-Mar/2019 Carrier Information Guide - ENGLISH.pdf

Also can show the naturalization certificate if crossing back via land POE: http://web.archive.org/web/20200929115350/https://www.uscis.gov/us-citizens-traveling-internationally "You can also use your original certificate of citizenship or certificate of naturalization."
