My wife filled for divorce without minor children

We separated two years now and our marriage is  five years, now she filled for divorce without minor children and no property . We are in different states now and I was saved by a civil process working in Sheriff’s office. I call the court how to send my response and I was told to post it with the address she gave me on the phone. Now my question is I want to travel to Africa because my mom wants to see me for about her health issues. Is it going to be a problem without waiting until I hear the final results from the court even though I am not in the state where the case was filled ?

What is your immigration status?  Are you a green card holder?

Yes I am ten years green card holder

What is your concern?

If you are concerned the divorce will prevent you from being admitted into the USA, you are guaranteed physical admittance into the USA.

Is it missing a communication from the court or her lawyer?

Add international roaming to your mobile phone and set up USPS Informed Delivery so that you don’t miss anything.  If USPS says an important mail is coming either abort your trip in the middle or have someone you trust open your mail and send you a scan.

I’m trying to know weather it gonna be problem if I didn’t wait until I get the final results from the court , that’s my concern and asking you people to advise me

Asked and answered.

If you miss an important communication while you are away from your home you could have a problem.  This is true whether you travel to another country, state, or county.  I’ve advised you how to avoid missing a communication.

How does divorce and being admitted into the US relate when you have a 10 yr green card?

Nonsense.  This is not an impediment for travel

YMMV
