If you have the time try giving them a call, they gave me my case number over the phone and we have similar dates.

Also they recommended to check junk/spam folders frequently as their emails tend to get sorted there by mailbox filters.

I received after calling them twice. If you call first thing in the morning (7am) you usually get put on hold 20-30 mins. Our case was approved on July 9th, we received our physical NOA2 in the mail on July 15th. NVC received the case July 21st. I called July 23rd and was told they'd received the case but it hadn't been assigned a case number yet and they recommended calling back the following week. Called back July 28th and got the case number.

Hope that helps.

Thank you! I will try calling tomorrow morning! :D

Hello all! Our NOA2 date was July 27. I called the NVC today and was told that they received the case yesterday but hasn’t been assigned to a case number yet. But I was recommended to call them back next week!

Our NOA2 was July 13th and it's still showing that it's at NVC. Anyone else in the same situation?

Looks like you're about a week behind me, it should be sent next week!

Hello everyone!

Just a little confused about the next steps at the NVC. Our NOA2 date was July 23 and our case was sent over to the NVC. I called NVC about 3 weeks after NOA2 date and got the case and invoice number. When I check on CEAC I see that our case status is: AT NVC. Does anyone have an idea for how long it stays at this step? Is 'in processing' the next step, and how long does that step take?

Any help would be appreciated. Just trying to get an idea for how long this NVC part is going to take :)

Next step is “In Transit” when NVC ships the case to your local consulate. The time it takes to go from “At NVC” to transit depends on your local consulate — they have to request the cases to be shipped by the NVC.

Some countries are backed up significantly 6-18 months (I.e cases at NVC since March 2020 or even further back remain at NVC today), for others it takes only a couple weeks.

Hello!

Not sure if I'm in the right place here, but looking for some advice.

I sent my I-129F in November of 2019. USCIS approved on June 9th, 2020. From what I can tell, NVC received our packet on July 10th, 2020. On July 12th, 2021 I finally got an email from NVC with our case number attached. Since then I haven't gotten any updates at all. NVC shows my last case update was July 20th, 2021.

From the Similar Timelines I have looked at, people that submitted their I-129F in 2020 have already had interviews and had their Visas approved even with the Covid delays.

I'm really starting to wonder if we've done something wrong at this point. Does anyone have advice for who to reach out to? Its more than a little bit frustrating to see people that sent their packets in after mine have made so much more progress than we have.

Any help at all would be appreciated, even if its just to suggest I try in another thread. At this point I'm just really unsure of what the next step should be.

@dmeister3 my interview is today! 😁 NOA2 26th July, and it’s been a tough journey to get here. Originally my case was filled for Sydney, but I’m stuck outside of Australia and the Sydney US embassy is closed anyway, so we had come to the realisation I probably wouldn’t be having an interview until 2022. I reached out to dozens of embassies close by since getting my NOA2 but none were willing to accept a transfer. I reached out to Guatemala for a 2nd time 2 months later - and they accepted! They received my case last Friday, secured my medical on Monday and interview for today (Thursday). What a week it’s been ♥️
