My fiancé submitted the petition on February 26, 2021 but so far we haven't received NOA1, what should we do? We're thinking of getting married by proxy but we're not sure. Thank you!

COVID pushed time frames. However, I would suggest getting married. You do not want to deal with this drama again come AOS time

Immigration journey is not: fast, for the faint at heart, easy, cheap, for the impatient nor right away. If more than 50% of this applies to you, best get off the bus.

COVID empurrou prazos. No entanto, eu sugeriria que se casasse. Você não quer lidar com esse drama novamente quando chegar a hora do AOS

We're going to try to send again if it doesn't work out we're going to get married

Why would you resend it? Resending doesn't mean you get the receipts faster.

Instead of that, why don't you get married? A small court wedding is all you need. CR-1 is only like 3 months longer that K-1. But when she passes through customs, she will automatically trigger GC as opposed to K-1 where you will have to do this whole almost 2 years wait for GC .

Try and understand the process and the difference between K-1 & CR-1/ IR-1
