Are you not able to talk to tier2 about this issue? That is unacceptable. I thought after 60 days of RFE received they allow request for update?

I have no idea about tier2  . How can I contact with them ? you are right after 60 days ,They should respond for RFE but it didnt work for me 😥

Today, we are 465 days since NOA1.  I received a generic reply last Tuesday that my case has been assigned to an officer and is under active review. I say "generic" because I've seen this reply to others who sent out an outside processing tine inquiry.

My question is, can I call USCIS again and ask for Tier 2 to  check any update?

You can try. But did it say 45 days? . Because I think Them saying under active review is better than the 45 days generic email

I submitted my inquiry through the tier 1 agent hoping that will be better than doing it online myself

"new correspondence can be expected shortly"

They did not mention a specific time.  So, God knows when... since they haven't been approving new cases in the last 3 weeks.

That sounds good because I’ve noticed they actually Get to your NOA 2 when they email you “under active review” I also spoke with the tier 1 agent yesterday and I specifically asked about why will you guys say 45 days To get a NOA 2 but people are going past 45 days without a notice and she said the 45 days is not guaranteed anymore because of so much backlog so when they say 45 days It’s in the order it was received nowadays

Oh, I hope you are right.  Because the word "torture" is an understatement.  I hope you will also get your approval soon.

This is really challenging my sanity lately.  I reached out to everybody... my congressman, senators.  One senator and one congressman emailed back.  But still nothing.  They can inquire for us, but it's really up to USCIS if they will work on our case.

I feel very helpless.
