  1. I ran out of the attempts for scheduling interviews unfortunately, im willing to pay another visa fee but the new website isn’t redirecting me to the payment as it should as per the embassy person. Can anyone help me out here?
  2. Exactly, that’s definitely a possibility. That brings to the second question that should they keep the existing one and try to book for a new one apply Ds160 again and say the previous one was a mistake? Or they should just keep the one that they have?! It’s a very tricky situation.
  3. Yes you’re right, so after exhausting all the reschedule attempts, the person has to cancel the appointment that they already have and pay the visa fee again and then they would get another 8. So the question was would they keep the current one that they already have or make a new seperate DS160 and apply again. At this point only someone who has done this can help because the system might not take another DS160, might show it’s duplicate OR if you google it will show you can do this by saying the other one was a mistake.
  4. If it was me in the position, I would make 100 rescheduling for my old parents. What’s the shame in that? What? Can anyone tell me? if someone is trying so hard for their family, that’s B2 and not even immigration, where’s the problem? I don’t feel ashamed for trying for my family. Also because, this is the only way it works in India. When you try to reschedule it, it’s only for a few days before so people keep on trying in the hope that they will find something sooner. So rescheduling 8 times would mean that the person has managed to booked 2 months earlier. A lot of people doesn’t even know the number of times rescheduling. 1.5 years slots from today are all booked. So the person who posted this asked a very simple question that they already have an appointment, however they wanna find something sooner and asked for some advice, so if anyone has gone through the similar situation would share their thoughts would be a great help to a lot of people.
  5. This is not an immigrant visa if you read it correctly, sometimes people want to bring their very old parents on B2. However the wait times are years. So people have to keep on trying rescheduling interviews multiple times in order to get something sooner.
  6. The wait time is 2 years in India for a B2. So the only hope to get the interview faster is rescheduling appointments multiple times because the earliest someone could get is 2025.
  7. Can someone please help me find the spreadsheet of RFE list 2022?
  8. Has anyone met their partner through shaadi.com, the Indian matrimonial site? If yes, was it absolutely necessary to send them IMB papers/ terms and conditions papers of the application? Is it possible to get an RFE if the IMB papers aren’t included on the file?
  9. Can someone kindly help? Is it absolutely necessary to submit IMB papers for K1 visa? If uscis don’t have it, is there a possibility that they could deny the application or send RFE?
  10. I totally understand that, even though everyone is or has gone through the same journey, some people be like“ be patient”, “ don’t complain”. It’s absolutely okay to feel what you’re feeling because we are the ones who are still waiting. Toxic positivity is a thing whether people believe it or not! I can’t sleep at night anymore, I take melatonin every night, cry and bother my fiancé everyday, call Uscis and they’ve got nothing to say. It has affected my mental health so much that I don’t even feel like getting out of my bed anymore. My life has been reduced to this because of Uscis.
  11. Can’t help but ask, what do Uscis tell people who are outside of the processing times? What excuse do they use? Normally, they even refuse to talk to people so I’m just being very curious.
  12. Just know, you’re not alone in this. It’s same for the rest of the poeple who are yet to get approved. Crying and waiting. I pray to god every single day but nothing happens. It hurts.
  13. Yes, that’s correct. From my experience, tier2 officers don’t have any more information than tier1. First we were given 2 days, they didn’t call, my fiance called them every few days and reminded that they’re supposed to call us, so they did after a whole month. However, we got no help from them, they just read everything from the screen. I was even more sad and pathetic after this experience.
  14. I’m really sorry to hear that and I did talk to tier2 officer, they said they’re only gonna help us with the case if we are outside of the processing times. Tricky part is, they’re always increasing it so we are never really outside of it. So when they call, you should have a good argument ready so they can’t say no to you.
  15. An update- The tier2 officer finally called us back. As expected, read everything from the screen and had absolutely no information about anything. Also, he mentioned, they’re just a Call centre and have no information on cases. So my fiancé requested to transfer the call to a senior officer to which he said yes and guess what?! He transferred the call to a tier2 officer, who, again read everything from the screen line by line. I’m still shocked about how the conversation went, how they play these games and how they crushed my hope of getting any help.
  16. They don’t care! Shocked to see that how their carelessness have ended so many relationships. People just have to wait and wait, can’t call, can’t inquire or anything. They don’t even answer to senators. It’s a total mess.
  17. I had also received the same notification from Uscis showing “case was received” three days back. Sadly, nothing for me yet, just breaks my heart! 😭
  18. Kind of in the same situation. Everyday feels like torture. ( wake up, cry, wait for a decision, sleep). Every single day!
  19. After updating the case tracker, I don’t see that feature anymore!
  20. Seems USCIS have time to do this but they don’t have time or resources to work on files?! My head hurts just by thinking about this.
  21. Tbh, you really can’t expect anything from them. I consider myself lucky if someone kind and decent picks up the call after trying 50 thousand times, otherwise everytime these agents be like “we don’t have any insight” and that’s it! It’s like I listen to a voice system.
  22. My fiance, the American citizen called Usics and asked for a tier 2 officer a month back, three days ago he received an email saying they’ll call in two business days and they never did. If anyone manages to speak to them, kindly post the procedure.
