Hi everyone!
Me and my American fiancée sent 3 weeks ago a I-129F form petitioning for a K1.
The petitioner  is considered a essential worker and already received the shots of the vaccine. She is going through a really hard time and has been recurrently sick and with anxiety and a few weeks back even went to the hospital where she was diagnosed with anxiety attack. Do you think it is possible for us to send a request to expedite our case in approving form I-129F?

We know that everyone is going through hard times with their visa processes and with Covid things are not easy for anybody. For us it has been really rough...
Thank you so much for you help

You can always try as expedite requests are considered on a case-by-case basis.

Good Luck!

It is free to request.  I very much doubt it will be approved.

I have the same issue along with being an essential worker and being fully vaccinated. My dad died two weeks ago also. They denied two expedite requests back to back with all supportive documents. Even for the sake of having my partner here and grieving alone.

But you never know, it could be approved and doesn’t cost anything to try or adds delays to the processing. I’m about 6 months into the process ...I like to think they denied me because my case is close to approval. Even if it’s not true :)

Sad to hear that...
Yes it's to much waiting for everyone and it feels unfair. Hopefully things will improve and soon you will get yours :)

Sounds legitimate.

People with similar backgrounds have requested expedition, you're not the first.

Go for it, and then tell us how it went.

Remember, here on Visajourney you'll get people out of the woodword, telling you NO and WHY? and it's a waste of time, BLAH BLAH.

Gather your documents. Gather your thoughts & letter. And then send it off. And then wait.
You literally have nothing to lose.
