Comments : No interview. Asked Senator office to request USCIS to expedite adjudication or schedule interview due to pending deployment as federal gov't civillian. I-485 was approved. Evidence pile of union was thick, so we have no issues. I've worked in gov't several years.
We decided to not get I-551 stamp and just wait for the green card.

Hello! Can I ask a question. After you got the approval did you feel out the DS-160 or you waited for the case to be transfer to Consulate? Did you received the Packet 3? I would really appreciate and answer. Best regards

Once we received the K-1 FTP, which is typically done after your case is on Ready Status, we did the DS-160 and then paid the MRV Fee.

Hi guys, so our papers are in Naples as well and we were wondering what our next steps would be. We started getting all the requested documents together and fill out DS160 but we are not sure if that allows us to schedule an interview yet. From what I read you guys were able to schedule an interview without being contacted by the consulate before or getting the packet 3, is that right? Thanks for sharing, all the best

Hi. The only letter we received was from NVC, known as the K-1 FTP (it's a letter saying your documents were sent to Naples). Naples never contacted us. So we became proactive. 1. My fiancee completed the DS-160. 2. We registered in the US Visa Info site (https://ais.usvisa-info.com/). 3. We filled out the details, and other admin information. 4. We paid the MRV fee in the US Visa Info site (requires a few days to process). 5. Upon payment confirmation, K-1 applicants can book their appointment. So we booked it. K-1 applicants MUST book their own appointment online. However, the consulate may modify the appointment. One thing Naples WILL schedule for you is the medical examination, which is typically done the day before the consular interview. Hope this helps.

Hello! So you have not received any package from USA embassy Naples after K1-FTP? Thankyou
blank avatar Fezlopez on 2021-04-18 said:
From In Transit to Ready Status took about 10 days. I will say this as clear as possible: NAPLES NEVER CONTACTED US NOR TOLD US TO DO ANYTHING. So we became proactive. Please reread my earlier message with the 5 steps. Whether Naples contacts you or not, you MUST do those 5 steps. The K1 FTP comes NVC not Naples.

Hi! We're some weeks behind your schedule and I'm very curious to know details on the next steps while the case approaches the consulate in Naples. Our NOA2 arrived on March 30. As you say we won't receive anything from the consulate in Naples (no forms, no list of required documents or deatils on the process to go through) and I (the beneficiary), have to fill in the DS-160, and schedule the interview. Are the: - (up-to-date) letter of intention - the I-134 (Affidavit of support) - the approved I-129F with any extra evidences requested by USCIS - NOA2 - the proof of ongoing relationship the (only) required documents at the interview? Thanks in advance for any advise!

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
