Slow movement today yet again. 4 approvals came in super early this morning, but since then, pretty much nothing. Will come to update again later, but hopefully things will get better in January! This has been nothing short of crazy, but we're nearing the end of this and have finally, finally seen attention given to March.

Do not worry! Your cases are being actively considered this week, even if it is only a few here and there. There's been a very clear holiday slowdown, January will be a happy month for us, God willing.

That's encouraging - thank you! I suppose then, at least we can confidently say 2022 is gonna be our year!

Same here. I was not worried and barely thinking about it months ago, but now that it is so close yet so far, I am a little antsy. 😆 But we will get our decision sooner or later!

Lol, that's exactly how I was! When October came and went I was like, okay, perhaps that was a bit wishful thinking, and when November ended I just felt really confused and sad lol. By December, we were all champs at feeling crushed I guess haha, but with the new approvals slowly rolling in I get happy every day for those around me. It just felt so, so bad not seeing anyone in March get the happy notice

Is myUSCIS down for anyone else? Can't get into my account; also tried to make a case inquiry, and even submitting the form is returning an error message.

I think it goes down on the days they don’t work. That’s what I have experienced at least.

Tomorrow starts our first processing day of 2022! Here’s to more normality, with people back to work and ready to bring March filers joy. Question - do they begin at 8am California time or 9? I always thought 9, but last week approvals came in at 8 and everyone told me I was wrong.

I checked the hours for California service center and it says 8:00 AM but I’m not sure it K1 visa agents actually start working at that time.

Are there dedicated officers for each petition? To the second point, I was always seeing approvals start at 9am sharp and last week was the first where they came through earlier so I was confused.

I’m not entirely sure. I actually think that officers were pulled from working with k1 to work on some of the special emergency visas (especially when the Afghan crisis). I always assumed they started working at 9 AM too but google says otherwise!

I assumed that too, but it got me wondering later how 'transferrable' the officers were; most surely, processing a K1 is very different than a SIV! Are there any updates on how the SIVs are progressing btw? I noted that USCIS' homepage changed from giving information about applying for it to 'attesting to vaccine status'; it made me think the vetting had already been prioritized/accomplished.

Receipt date of 3/17/21 … still no approval or RFE, anyone else filed before or after have a decision?
