Bro, just relax for a year frist, then you can start to worry about interview date... I have been dq since March 2020, and still waiting for interview date. Too much of backlogs!!

Parent is IR5 not F2A. F2A is a LPR filing for spouse and child under 21. Right now the embassy is just stuck been on August through November 2020 for 3 months.

Thank you! And It’s a F2A visa because my mom (a LPR) filed for my dad. 
 

Did you say they’ve started working on Aug 2020 for F2A, or is that information for IR5?

Did you say they’ve started working on Aug 2020 for F2A, or is that information for IR5?

They aren't working on anything currently but AP cases. With the new rule of now embassies can schedule how they want no priority to category who knows when they will do things. I know many IR/CR Oct/Nov 2020 waiting. I thought Aug 2020 for F2A was done.
But like I said Lagos like many other embassies have done very little if any December and January scheduling. So all you can do is just keep watching.
