Well...didn't think about this.  I submitted the credit card authorization for the I-129 that I mailed December 19th.  No NOA yet, and I'm not surprised.  But...just found out the credit card has been replaced with a new number and will NOT PROCESS when the lockbox tries to run it with our application!!  Now what!!!  I emailed them--30 day response time, by which they should have already got to ours and after the card not going through I'm positive they will just send it back and we start over!!!!!?????

Help!!!???

Ive been trying to call all day and get hung up on every single time...

I think USCIS is closed today and tomorrow. Monday was a holiday.

Closed because of all the happenings in DC.

Lockbox is in Texas.   USCIS closed public facing offices for Jan 19 & 20.   Lockbox doesn't deal with the public

YMMV

The magic words are "Technical difficulties" and asking for technical support. Although I am not sure a call will be helpful in your case, I do not believe they can amend your application since the lockbox sort of acts independently from the USCIS offices. I think your best bet is now to wait for them to send the application back, and send it with the correct card information. Another option is to send in the same application with the correct card information (which can be costly both money and timewise.) Sorry about your troubles.

Your right...I used the schedule an interview...got me right to someone just a bit ago...ultimately I would have to wait till the application was denied.  Then returned and then resend it.  I'm going to send out another one today.  Not going to wait months for that other to happen.  Already lost a month with this issue.  😞

That's what I had to do when I spaced out and sent the application to the wrong lockbox. I even tried to re-route it, called the USPS offices and they tried to really help but couldn't stop it. The best way was to just print everything again and mail the application the next day without waiting for the wrong application to be sent back (which came back in a couple of weeks before Covid times). Best of luck with the rest of your journey!

It won't be denied, it will just get rejected. It's not a biggie at all other than it the time it takes to get it returned (this can take 4-6 weeks right now). Refile with a check instead, it seems to be less hassle with checks than with credit cards (can't even remember how many issues I have read about regarding the credit card payment, everything from a wrong number on the form to the bank blocking the payment etc).
