Why are NOA1s not being processed?

Hi! New to this page. Our I-129F application was delivered to the Lewisville lockbox on Nov 5, 2020. We have yet to receive a receipt. I emailed the lockbox on Jan 5, 2021, no reply either. We've tried calling the "Outside the US" contact number, but they ask for our receipt number to continue to speak with the operator. 

 

Is there anything else we can do? Just wait and hope to receive a receipt soon? It's been nearly three months!

We're all in the same boat here; there's just a huge backlog because NOA1s just ground to a halt for a while there. Nothing to do but wait while they get through them.

 

Things are speeding up now, and the most recent batches we've seen have been packages received in late October, so us November filers should get ours relatively soon. There is also some speculation from others that since the NOA1s are being backdated to when they actually received them, that this wait time may cut into our NOA2 wait time, which would be great.

Just wait! We’re all in the same boat here! I filed I-129f in November 6, but haven’t get my NOA1 yet. I did not get an e notifications nor my money order hasn’t been cashed yet. 
Hopefully, we should get ours soon because I heard from other who have filed in November 2, that they have gotten their NAO1 as an e notifications last Thursday.

It means we currently have a 90 day lag from the time the application was sent to when we could expect the NOA1 receipt.

Lockbox facilities are still slow due to the pandemic’s trickledown.

Since November, I’ve been noticing that loads of K visa applicants still haven’t gotten their NOA1. 

With this in mind, I’d stress that couples stay patient.

Unfortunately, many payments have not been cashed yet, either.

Our application was received Nov 5. We called last week and got our receipt number. They said our NOA1 was mailed Feb 2 (we're overseas though so i think it'll take 3-4 weeks to get to us). No email or text.

Mailed ours and Post Office confirmed delivery November 13. Still no NOA1 😢

😕 that’s definitely way too long. Try calling USCIS and say ‘I’ve lost my case number’ when you get the robot voice asking you what you’re calling about. 
 

we filed December 23 and received ours 3 weeks ago, so November 13 is way overdue. 
 

I hope you get it soon!
