Thank you. Did you get an email from usps saying "A piece of mail that we do not have an image for is included in today's mail" or nothing at all?

Have you got your NC now?

NO, but I found a voice message in my cellphone from the passport center, they said that the NC returned back to their facility in new orleans because the address was wrong, I don't know how the address was wrong , they sent me my passport to same address.

This is actually good news. They should be able to mail it back again to you and hopefully you'll receive it soon.

You're not alone, I got my passport over 3 weeks ago, still no NC. The web page you mentioned in your previous post seems to have just added many more comments / people not receiving their NCs just recently. Not sure what's going wrong.

Very disappointing , I called the national passport center after putting me on hold for more than 30min , I talked to a representative asking about my NC , they kept asking me about my exact address because , the NC returned back to New Orleans because my address is incorrect, I told him I already recieved my passport , I even sent them a prepaid return envelope with tracking number and begged them to send me my documents, cause it is not only my NC , but my daughter's green card, her birthcertificate , they didn't issue a passport for her nor return her green card.

Finally I received my NC yesterday in the mail, after 4 months

Happy for you! It must be such a relief to get the precious NC back after all these days of unwarranted stress!!!

Yeah , I couldn't believe it till now. Now I have to mail my NC and my SSC to the social security local office to update my social security card,  but I don't want to after that painful experience with the passport center.

I'm SO HAPPY for you!!!! I've been praying that you get your NC back without problem. I waited for over a month for mine but nothing compared to you.. I can imagine the moment you saw that in your mailbox😊. The good thing is that we both got ours back, happy ending.

You don't have to mail your NC to update your citizenship status at the social security office. If you really need to update it NOW, mail your US passport instead because they accept that as proof.

BTW, how's your daughter's passport application? I wish all the best for all of you!

@Disteny - I would certainly be quite wary after such a harrowing experience that you just endured! BTW, did you happen to apply for your Passport "Card" as well when you applied for your passport? According to an excellent (👏👏👏) tip by @seetsuh in the thread Updated My SSN with SSA and it was simple  one is able to update his/her citizenship status at SSA using the Passport "Card" (and not sending in the NC). I intend to do this later on so I don't spend a fortune on antacids 😂
