Hello- So my husband and I just received our interview letter from the NVC. His interview is scheduled for January 5th, 2021. As we are trying to get everything set for the interview next steps we are running into an issue. The first step on the prep list states that we need to create an online account at: http://www.ustraveldocs.com/ng/

However, when we go on the website to register it shows an error message of: “Your request cannot be processed at this time and user could not be created”. I attached an image for reference for what we are seeing.

Second, we have called the approved medical professionals for his exam and they all say to call back daily for a spot/ possible cancellation. Otherwise the soonest they can set an appointment is for after the interview date has occurred. Which is obviously an issue.

Any suggestions on how to deal with the above issues? Everything else on the next steps list we can easily get done.

Open an email or make sure your email address carries the first name and the last name as it is written in the passport before you will be able to register...eg if you name is Lucy Jackson.....email address can be lucyjackson20000@gmail or Yahoo etc.. just make sure it carries both names. Hope this will help.

Hi. We had this same exact issue. We ended up having to call the contact number and speak to an agent. The agent was able to resolve the issue.

This is like the last thing after your visa has been approved, its just to get a notification from the collection center once your passport is available for pickup... nothing to stress about

many have had to go to interview without being able to do medical exam

it will put u in AP after interview for this issue

but AP is normal these days for many other reasons

and CEAC may say refused  (no idea why they went to this type of post but don't worry about that) Refused seems to be the new norm for AP

Hello,

Thank you for the info. What does AP mean?

AP means administration process for anything from extra security checking,  verifying documents or just time to print the visa

CEAC may show AP or refused until it posts either denied or visa issued / don't worry if it says refused

Congrats on your interview date! I'm right behind y'all! Well sort of. Tegu has our case and we just scheduled my wife's medical exam for Monday. She is going to the panel doctor in San Pedro Sula (she lives in El Progreso). She just got off the phone with them as I am typing this. Try calling their office. I know it's a bit a drive or even a day trip to go to San Pedro Sula. But she's been going to Tegucigalpa quite often to get documents and isn't too bad of a trip. We didn't have a problem creating a profile on the ustraveldoc website.

Ah okay! Thank you for your help! Sucks that we might end up on AP then... I would love to finish this process and keep this momentum going so I can get him here.

Here are the approved medical locations. Try calling first thing in the am (Nigeria time) to schedule the appointment.
