I've received an interview date today! Interview is September 7, 2021. USCIS center is New York (26 Federal Plaza Manhattan).

As for the Civic test, just to make sure before I start learning the questions, I can take the 2008 civic test right? Or If I want I can choose the 2020 one!

I know for sure that we can only take 2008 version. I take zoom classes from library and this information is 100% accurate

I unfortunately don’t know how to unlock the document, so I can’t help you with that.  Sorry…  Hopefully somebody more knowledgeable can help here.

As for being outside normal processing times, that depends on the field office.  I see that you’re in the same jurisdiction I am in (Washington DC field office), which currently has processing times of 10.5 - 17 months for N400.  Only once the “higher” number of months have elapsed can you file an inquiry.  USCIS has a processing times tool somewhere where every field office also lists dates from when on our you can file an inquiry.  Sadly, this is quite a while away for us, and even though USCIS says that it generally processes cases in the order it receives them, it still seems to be luck of the draw…

Thank you @CMJuilland! In other words, we need to continue to be patient.

@alicekitty yeah, unfortunately, that seems to be the case… But we should also remain hopeful - after all, USCIS claims to process 50% of its cases in a certain category before or by the lower-months timeline :)

Received interview date of September 18, 2021. That is a Saturday.

However, I-751 is still pending. When I call USCIS, they do not know anything about a combination interview.

I also wonder if infopass interview can be done on same day?

So here I go, filed my N400 online on december 25th, 2020 and so far I only got the NOA letter. I am still waiting for the biometrics. I am really annoyed this process is taking longer than what it used to take. If they are going to reuse the biometrics they should inform people a week after and not make them wait for 8 months.

Hi! I'm in St Louis too, I filed on jan 1st 2021 and went in for biometrics last week. Have you had any updates on your case?

I received my interview notice through website today. Yaay! My interview is scheduled for November 16, 2021. So I have been asked to bring few items with me to the interview. One of them reads "Any evidence of Selective Service Registration". What is Selective Service Registration?
